Botched Attack on Teacher's Credential Fails
The TRUTH is Revealed!
The full story of the botched attempt, made by the Victor Elementary
School District, to viciously revoke the teaching credentials of
one of their former teachers has now been fully uncovered. In addition
to the information on this page, be sure to examine ASEE's page
on VESD's personnel director, Janet
Young! Wow! (. . .or perhaps yeeeeech might be a better term!)
Here are the FACTS
. . .regarding the harassment of a former teacher from the Victor
Elementary School District. (Please note that the preceding link
points to many additional shenanigans perpetrated by this same district.)
|
- April 19, 2000 - Barbara J. Moore, "Coordinator/Staff Counsel" from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. The teacher receives this pernicious drivel on Good Friday 2000. The teacher IMMEDIATELY (that date) files charges of retaliation against the Victor Elementary School District. As the letter clearly demonstrates, Ms. Moore DID NOT state what the phony charges were and expected the teacher to PAY for a copy of these phony charges. ASEE believes this to be highly inappropriate and unethical. Double click on the images at the left to view.

|
- No response, of any kind, is received from Barbara J. Moore until AFTER the teacher's attorney contacted the illustrious Ms. Moore personally. At that time, the teacher's attorney is told that "the charges had already been dropped." The teacher knew absolutely nothing about this sudden (but not unexpected) turn of events.
|
|
- April 28, 2000 - Barbara J. Moore then replies to her original letter stating that it had been "inadvertently sent." The teacher contacts Ms. Moore and demands an explanation as to the meaning of "inadvertently sent." Ms. Moore responds - "You don't know what inadvertently means?" Come on Ms. Moore, if YOU received a letter such as the one you signed your name to, wouldn't you want an explanation? Gosh, you "apologize for the 'inconvenience'???????" By the way, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the second half of the play? Apparently, any understanding on the part of Ms. Moore, is beyond her capabilities. |
- May 24, 2000 - The extraordinarily articulate Mary C. Armstrong, Director of "Professional Practices" (is that an oxymoron?) of the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, sends the CTC's highly insightful (and prolific) final response. (One can't help but note that she, apparently, is incapable of writing anything more than a simple sentence.) Double click on the image at the left to view.

Further Details
Nowhere, in ANY of the correspondence from the CTC, does this
state agency explain, in any manner, exactly what the phony charges
were other than to mention the malicious charges of "unprofessional
practice." Also, nowhere in their correspondence does the CTC
identify exactly who filed the original charge except for Ms. Armstrong's
"cc" at the bottom of her letter that was forwarded to
the "Director, Victor Elementary School District."
ASEE would like to assist Ms. Armstrong and now list some of the
"Directors," and other administrators from the Victor
Elementary School District who may have had something to do with
this cute little attempt to intentionally and viciously attack a
teacher who had always received outstanding job evaluations (listed
below). While the "directors," listed below, may have
had a part in VESD's shenanigans, ASEE has learned that it was Janet
Young, VESD "Director of Personnel Services" (or,
perhaps, Dictator of First Amendment Suppression), was the individual
directly responsible for this farce. Some of these "directors"
may have included:
- Ralph Baker, Superintendent, Victor Elementary
School District. Be sure to take a look at Mr. Baker's "Letter
of Recommendation" (listed below) that he signed the MONTH
before the teacher who was attacked by the CTC quit! Click
here to view Mr. Baker's participation in one of the complaints
filed against the Victor Elementary School District with the United
States Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights.
- Janet Young Director
of "Personnel Services", Victor Elementary School District.
How would you like to be hired by THIS individual? Janet
Young is the person responsible for filing the malicious and defamatory
drivel against a teacher who tried to help and protect the children
under his care! Click
here to learn more!
- John Levelle, Director of "Pupil Personnel
Services", Victor Elementary School District - Click
here to view Mr. Levelle's participation in one of the complaints
filed against the Victor Elementary School District with the United
States Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights.
- Lynn Bunnell, Director of Curriculum, Victor
Elementary School District
- Denise Edge, Principal, Lomitas Elementary
School "A California Distinguished School" and a "National
Blue Ribbon School." As noted elsewhere on this site, Lomitas
Elementary School was the one which was (and still is) being investigated
on charges of racism and refusal to assist students with SEVERE
special needs. Click here for more
information about this award winning "school."
While it was not known, specifically, who was responsible for this
harassment, it is known that the teacher had worked at Lomitas
Elementary School and it must be assumed that both Ralph
Baker and Janet Young, due to their "exalted
and esteemed status" must have played a role. Also, the "award
winning" Denise Edge, as the illustrious principal
of "Lomitas Elementary School -
A 'National Blue Ribbon School (please observe a moment of silence)",
is known to have been that teacher's final supervisor. Others are
listed simply because they are also "directors" for the
Victor Elementary School District.
FACTS About the Teacher Who Was the Victim of the Victor Elementary
School District's and the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing's
Nonsense
As noted above, the teacher attacked by the VESD and the CTC always
obtained exemplary job evaluations and other assessments (both before
and after leaving the Victor Elementary
School District). Here's a sample:
Letter
of Recommendation signed by Ralph Baker, approximately
ONE MONTH before this teacher quit working for the Victor
Elementary School District. Please note that the CTC correctly
noted [in their first letter], that the teacher had quit voluntarily.

A
job evaluation this teacher received from Denise Edge,
principal of Lomitas Elementary School,
during the last year of employment with the Victor
Elementary School District and while employed at Lomitas Elementary
School. Double click on the image at the left to view.
Just
a few months prior to resigning, this teacher served as a "master
teacher" (someone who was responsible for supervising a student
teacher). The following is an example from that student teacher's
evaluations, received from the supervising professor, regarding
both the teacher, as well as the classroom environment created by
that teacher, that the VESD has so viciously attacked. Double click
