Retaliate Against A Teacher?
Obtain Glory as a "California Distinguished School!"
On March 6, 2002, the California Department of Education "nominates" two schools, Brentwood Elementary and Lomitas Elementary for the state's "highest honor" - even though the district was still being monitored by the United States Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights (OCR) for retaliating against a teacher!
Two weeks later, after being monitored for nearly a year, OCR issues the following letter:
Disgusting, but not surprising, is the fact that the teacher who was retaliated against, was a former teacher at Lomitas Elementary and had previously filed other complaints against the school on charges of racism and discrimination against students with severe special needs! Find out more about those horrors here.
