Bill Ribblett, High Desert Service Center Representative for the
National Education Association & the
California Teachers Association
Take a good look at what this individual both knew about and did nothing to prevent.
- Unethical practices within his own office, the High Desert Service Center,
Ongoing corruption within the Victor Elementary Teachers Association,
Continual problems within the Victor Elementary School District,
- Provided sarcastic response when every classroom in the Victor Elementary School District was searched and instruction was severely disrupted, during the school day, for "safety issues" such as "white out", scissors, and popcorn poppers.
- He ignored the complaint filed against Lomitas Elementary School with the United States Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights which resulted in an investigation against, not just Lomitas, but the entire Victor Elementary School District. Even more disturbing is that a copy of this complaint was hand delivered to his office shortly after it was filed. As you know, this investigation lasted approximately two years. Is it true that you complained when the investigation began because "teachers had more work to do?" Did you care that children and teachers had been severely harmed by abuses made by the Victor Elementary School District?
- He knew about the corrupt CTA/NEA elections and then tried to blame others for his office's errors.
- He knew about the $14,000 in CTA membership dues that was not deposited by the Victor Elementary Teachers Association and yet you did nothing.
- He knew about the Victor Elementary Teachers Association Constitution and Bylaw fiasco and yet did nothing.
- Is it true that Ribblett once filed a lawsuit against CTA/NEA?
