Great Newspaper

Now here's a school system that every educator will want to work for! Just in case you didn't read it the first time, take a look at a case filed by the fine Chicago School Reform Board of Trustees against Substance (a newspaper published, independently by teachers, for the past TWENTY-FIVE years) that is dedicated to documenting the blatant cesspool of educational incompetence that exists in Chicago schools.

At Last, a REAL Description of U.S. Public Schools...
"Chi-ca-go, Chi-ca-go!"

"the newspaper and other materials already disseminated must be confiscated, even if it takes U.S. Marshals going to every Chicago public school teacher's home. . ."
(Ref: Chicago School Reform Board of Trustees vs. Substance, Inc. U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division, Case No. 99 C 440, Judge Charles R. Norgle, Sr.)

Stay tuned for more as ASEE is seeking permission from Substance to POST that actual court document here! For those who can't wait, PLEASE contact (and subscribe to) Substance, a REAL newspaper for REAL educators! Substance may be reached at:
